An intriguing Iris variety, 'Black Form' produces striking deep violet flowers that almost look black with fine yellow veins within the falls that are accompanied by vivid grey-green narrow leaves. An eye-catching perennial that reaches a height of 50cm, these upright hardy Iris will add depth and character to the front of garden borders and patio containers but can also be used within floral arrangements when cut. Flowering from May to June, they will make an eye-catching addition to the summer garden. First grade loose roots supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Take some care to prevent slugs and snails from attacking the iris once planted. Most Iris can naturalise well if left undisturbed or alternatively bulbs can be lifted and separated in Autumn. After flowering feed with a high potash fertiliser to encourage large bulbs to form.Plant on arrival in full sun or in partial shade. They will thrive in moist and relatively fertile soil.
