Bacon Ft. Brussels - The Best Brussels Sprouts Recipe
Whether you love em' or hate em', Brussels sprouts are a staple for many people's Sunday roast or Christmas dinner. If you're looking for a recipe that takes the average dish to the next level, then this Brussels sprouts recipe is right up your alley!
Serves: 6-8 people
Prep Time: 15 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins
Ingredients:
- 1kg Brussels Sprouts
- 1 pack of bacon
- 50g butter
Method:
Step 1 - Bring a large pot of water to boil and add your trimmed sprouts. Cook these for 5 minutes and then drain the water.
Step 2 - Cook the bacon rashers in a pan and gently fry until crispy. Once cooked to your liking, empty the bacon into a bowl.
Step 3 - Add your Brussels sprouts to the pan with a splash of water and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes until they're soft.
Step 4 - Add your butter and the cooked bacon back into the pan and saute for a few minutes until crispy.
Serve and enjoy!
