Product Description
Our Zinnia California Giant Mix produces gorgeous blooms in exciting shapes throughout the summer and into autumn. Their fluffy, open blooms appear in shades of cherry red, sunset orange, and deep purple throughout the season, giving you months of colour to the border. Sow seeds directly outside from May to June to see them appear from July to October!

Growing at a glance…
Sow thinly under cover after the threat of frost has gone. Allow them 4-6 weeks in good quality seed compost to grow decent seedlings. Lightly cover with soil once placed into their position and keep moist. Germination often takes 5-10 days. Can be sown directly outdoors in well-drained soil after the last frost (often from mid-May), but seedlings will need protection from common pests. When large enough to handle, thin & transplant into trays, growing them on under cooler conditions. For bigger, bushier plants, pinch back young seedlings down to their first set of leaves. Feed monthly and deadhead spent blooms to promote regular flowering.
